		<description>Excellent analogy! It made your point really clear. As a professor, I try to avoid plowing through the material. This is partially for selfish reasons. I enjoy spending time on a few concepts and making sure that students truly understand them.

I wonder if you could take the analogy even further. Maybe rushing through the material in a class is like driving a snow plow without lowering the plow. You are driving fast and feel like you are accomplishing something, but you are actually failing to accomplish anything.

Time to slow down and make sure the plow is making contact with the road surface.</description>
